Opening in 1974, Shannonville Motorsport Park has been a beloved home for both motorcycle and racing enthusiasts. A multi-purpose motorsport facility, you can find a variety of motorcycle and car activities here including lapping, training and racing.  It is fondly known as the Birthplace of Champions, as many participants have honed their skills at Shannonville and gone on to become champions on the world motorsport stage.

What started out as a small, family-run bakery has quickly grown into a 24-hour operation. Not only have Krysten and Joanne expanded their amazing team, but their menu now showcases unique monthly flavours and even caters to those with dietary needs. Recently they have become a staple vendor at Pop-Ups on the Bay at Zwicks Park.

When Nan Keenan pulled up her stakes in Toronto in 2011 and moved to the County after purchasing an existing jam business, she didn’t envision that the business would eventually experience such success. Nan started out canning in her home (which featured a small retail space) and attended local markets on the weekend. It wasn’t until her sister Laurie was diagnosed as pre-diabetic that Nan realized there was a growing need for healthy, sugar-free products, and set out to make a difference.

Making memories for generations has been the focus of Stoneburg Cove Cottages since the Wiehr family purchased the business back in 2014. At the time of purchase, the park had been severely neglected and was a shell of its former self. After consulting with longtime guests they set off on a renovation adventure, re-imagining what a family friendly, fun filled, cottage resort for active families would look and feel like. The Wiehrs went back to the roots of the property, where families came to relax, reconnect, and revel in the sunshine while savoring the cottage experience. Together, they’ve created a family run, boutique cottage colony, RV Park, and marina.

Farms likes Jameshill Farms Inc. have been the backbone of the Quinte economy for decades. Brothers Ben and Charlie Sandercock (7th generation farmers) bought the farm in 2020 and share ownership with their father, James.
