Welcome to Community Futures Eastern Ontario (CFEO). Our role as a network organization is to represent the 15 Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) in Eastern Ontario and to act as their regional voice. These CFDCs are part of the Community Futures Program (CFP), a community driven economic development initiative designed to assist entrepreneurs and businesses in rural areas. CFEO works collaboratively with other regional partners across the province to drive economic growth initiatives and is also a delivery agent for regional programs such as the Southern Ontario Fund for Investing in Innovation (SOFII).
CFEO and the CFDCs are funded through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
CFEO is governed by a Board of Directors and managed by experienced professionals who work to strengthen the area’s regional economy by supporting innovation, business growth and community capacity.
