Frontenac Business Services is seeking its next Executive Director.
A member of the Community Futures Eastern Ontario network, Frontenac Business Services supports entrepreneurs and small businesses across Frontenac County. As a Community Futures Development Corporation funded by FedDev Ontario, Frontenac Business Services (FBS) helps entrepreneurs start and grow businesses across the rural County of Frontenac with free business and financial counselling and flexible commercial loans of up to $300,000.
About the opportunity
Reporting to a volunteer Board of Directors, the Executive Director will lead organizational strategy, operations, financial management and staff. The role also includes hands-on business counselling and relationship-building with businesses, community organizations and government partners.
The ideal candidate brings post-secondary education in business, commerce or finance, experience in business counselling, and strong leadership and communication skills.
